Running the Frogtab task manager on Ubuntu

Frogtab is a browser-based task manager I built to help me stay organized at work. If you want to run your own instance of Frogtab on your computer, you can install a package called Frogtab Local.

Frogtab Local enables you to use Frogtab offline. It also has better support for automatic backups - some browsers don't support the mechanism that frogtab.com uses for automatic backups.

This post explains how to set up Frogtab Local on Ubuntu. If you have a different operating system, get the Frogtab Local snap (Linux only) or install Frogtab Local from source.

To set up Frogtab Local on Ubuntu:

  1. Open App Center, then search for Frogtab Local.

  2. Select Frogtab Local, then click Install.
